Jacob Brent (Mr Mistoffelees) had been on Broadway in the production
of Cats for the last 5 years. He played Pouncival while understuding Mistoffelees.
He was with the company when they broke the record for the longest running
show on Broadway. On December 19, 1999 Jacob played Mistoffelees for the
last time. We had the pleasure of being there, it was the most emotional
show we've ever been to. Jacob told us he plans to take a long rest before
going on to something else. We will all miss you Jacob.
